Your Bookkeeper with

engineering experience.

You’re a busy business owner and you’ve got a million things going on. You need someone else to do the dirty work - to clean it up, handle all the details, then give you an overview of how your business is doing.

That’s what I do.

I’ll take over right where you are.

I’m Amy Boron and I help business owners who need more time to spend on the things that matter.

I work with business owners who want the bookkeeping done for them, so they don’t need to learn the software and question whether they are doing it right.

It’s time to have someone else do the detailed work for you.

You can trust this thorough problem solver to handle it. Take a look at my training:

  • QuickBooks ProAdvisor

I did the training and passed the test - I know QuickBooks Online like the back of my hand.

  • Bookkeeper Training School Graduate

My bookkeeping training comes from a CPA of over 20 years with a love for correct bookkeeping even if it’s not easy. Plus, my mentor and a network of bookkeepers is still available to me if we ever run into anything crazy in your books!

  • Gusto Certified People Advisor

I’m certified to not only run payroll but to advise clients in Gusto.

  • Relay Certified Banking Partner

I’m certified to help you navigate this wonderful (and Profit First Certified) banking platform and help you keep track of your business banking.

  • B.S. in Chemical Engineering

And last but not least, 3 years of industry experience and 4 years of crazy-stressful school in the far northern reaches of Michigan.

My goal is to give you back your time so you can focus on the things that matter to you. And I make it as quick and easy as possible for you.

I get your QuickBooks Online set up perfectly for your business.

We meet on a call to discuss your needs.

You get that time back and spend it on your business (or yourself, family, etc.).

I take over your bookkeeping.

“Amy has performed the tasks delegated to her in a timely, professional, and competent manner.  I can honestly report that I have not had any instance where I was at all dissatisfied with any aspect of her work.”

-Chuck Bilich, Charles A. Bilich, Attorney-at-Law

If you caught the engineering degree up above, you’ll know I’m a bit of an outlier for a remote bookkeeper.

I attended Michigan Technological University and learned all I could about chemical engineering. After graduation, I came back to Southeast Michigan, got married, and worked in the quality department of a steel mill for 3 years. By that time we had kids and I moved on to working for my favorite non-profit as an admin doing donation entry. Childcare isn’t cheap though so when the balance of childcare for 3 kids versus my income tipped, I left and started my remote bookkeeping business. Now I have more time for my family, homeschooling, and helping on our small farm. I have the time for the things that matter to me, and I want the same for you!

When I’m not working on a client’s books you’ll find me:

● Breathing in our 10 acres of future all-natural farm

● Playing with our kids, inside or out

● Trying to keep up with the massive amounts of laundry muddy kids make....

OR

● Reading whatever novel I’ve picked out

Why “Snowshoe”?

The name Snowshoe Bookkeeping came from my days in the Upper Peninsula. As a Catholic in the U.P., I was introduced to the story of Venerable Bishop Baraga. He was the first bishop of the region (from 1853-1868) and was revered by both the native and settler people. They called him the “Snowshoe Priest” because he would travel on snowshoes to visit his people. The inspiration for a remote bookkeeping business struck in response to prayers to Bishop Baraga. His prayers guided me to a better path for my family and more time for business owners like you!
